Eval Process

 

The purpose of the Evaluation Day is to assess the player's skill level and use this information for the team player selections. The intent of the team player selection is to balance each team to ensure a competitive division.
Who: In-house softball Grade 3/4, Grade 5/6, Grade 7/8; Travel 10U, 12U, and 14U
–When: Saturday March 28, 2009
–Where: Softball at Chaska Middle School West (CMSW)
–What: Players do an Evaluator Catch, Pitching & Catching, Base Running, Base Hitting, and Situational Fielding
–Uniform: athletic clothes, gym shoes (no cleats), glove, and optional bat.
 
•Players must register and attend the evaluations to participate in the league. Exceptions can only be approved by the Little League President.
•Check the CAA website for updates or weather cancellations.
 
In-House Fastpitch Softball
Grade 3-4 - Check-in at 8:00 am. Evaluation = 8:30 - 10:00 am
Grade 5-6 - Check-in at 9:30 am. Evaluation – 10:00 – 11:30
Grade 7-8 - Check-in at 11:00 am. Evaluation – 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
 
Travel Fastpitch Softball
Travel u10 - Check-in at 12:30 pm. Evaluation – 1:00– 2:30 pm
Travel u14 - Check-in at 2:00 pm. Evaluation – 2:30– 4:00 pm
Travelu12 - Check-in at 3:30 pm. Evaluation – 4:00– 5::30 pm
 
If your player is not able to attend the primary tryout on Sat Mar 28, they may attend the make-up evaluation.  Please make prior coordination with the Travel Director, Rick Shea (shearick@yahoo.com) so we can plan for the number of players.
 
Travel Make-up Evaluation, Sunday Mar 29 at Pioneer Ridge Freshman Center
Check-in at 5:00 pm. Evaluation – 5:30– 7::00 pm
